Much has been written on this website and around the world wide web on the subject of Predestination versus Free Will. This will be my final word on the subject. It is the most concise explanation I can give.
I am beginning to think that the subject of heaven and hell should first be discussed before engaging in the subject of predestination. The reason I bring the subject of heaven and hell up is that predestination has to do with those two primary destinations.
Recently, my friend and brother, Mac sent two links to YouTube on the Roman Catholic view of Predestination. I will create two posts, one for each video. My comments are in the accordion below the video. At the onset, it is worth mentioning while I disagree with some of Dr. Bergsma’s approaches I believe we would be good friends if we knew one another.
All religions that believe in a creator god are faced with the basic question, “If a god or God created us then why did he allow evil?” Do Christians have an answer? In addition, for those who believe God is all-powerful, all-knowing, always present, and is love itself why did He allow or even ordain evil?
